In fact, the BRB/Back Thread also serves as a place to announce your return from an absence of less than 30 days. If you have been away longer than that, you are eligible to create a re-introduction thread.

If you post here to say you're going on hiatus, do not state that you may be returning soon. Only post to say you are leaving or returning.

And you can also say goodbye or welcome back other members too!
