I like Blue as the best Rival because he was Ash's first rival and he uses the team of highest levels of out of all rivals Pre-Credits.

I'll go with Hugh. His Battle Theme and his VS sprite... I thought he was going to be evil when I first played the White 2 ROM back in June 22. Instead, he's confronting Team Plasma for his stolen Purrloin.
